The Dental Centre is operated by Dr Philip Stephen Blackledge B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). Dr Stephen qualified from the university of Birmingham United Kingdom in December 1983 and shortly thereafter joined his father’s dental practice in Leeds West Yorkshire. From 1984 to 1996 he built up his clinical experience within the U.K. private dental sector and National Health Service. After his fathers retirement from dentistry in 1987 he furthered his dental career specialising in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and Implantology. During this period he established his own on-site dental crown and bridge laboratory dedicated to the provision of optimum quality porcelain, crowns, veneers and bridges. (It had always been his belief that a one to one relationship with a single laboratory technician was an essential prerequisite for achieving consistent quality in advanced restorative dentistry.)
In 1996 he relocated his professional services to the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain where until 2011 he was clinical director of ‘The European Dental Practice’. The Practice provided exclusive private dental treatment to the British expatriate community and many international clientèle.
Today, finds Dr Stephen offering his clinical expertise at the dental offices of The Dental Centre in George Town, Grand Cayman, British West Indies.
Dr Stephen is a member of the International team for dental Implantology (I.T.I.). Combining implantology with his vast experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry has helped to position himself at the forefront of the dental makeover sector.
